Welcome to Week 6 of the NFL Scoped - an ongoing series intended to help you make your NFL roster decisions at the major Daily Fantasy Sports sites. Today I discuss what to expect from the Thursday night match-up between the scuffling New York Giants and contending Chicago Bears, as well as developing injury stories to follow in the lead up to Sunday’s action.

There’s an unusual situation in 2-day MLB contests at FanDuel and DraftDay, where 25% of the listed players are must-avoid, because the Dodgers wrapped up their series with the Braves late Monday night. In the Saturday MLB Scope, I hinted about Sonny Gray, comparing him favorably to Justin Verlander, but could not quite bring myself to recommend the undersized rookie against a former Cy Young winner and MVP. Though I picked the “wrong” closer at DraftStreet yesterday, Gerrit Cole and my hitters still paid off with an in-the-money finish. There are two games each on Saturday and Sunday, do most DFS sites are offering 2-day contests. (DraftDay has Saturday-only leagues if you are interested, but I prefer the larger player pool.) At FanDuel, you need only one pitcher, at DraftKings two SP and at DS, you can use a closer in the second P spot.
